Friends, I’m very happy to be able to tell you about an announcement that Ubisoft made today, regarding a project for which I’m very proud to have served as composer.  Today Ubisoft announced that the PlayStation Vita game Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation will be coming to Xbox 360, PS3 and PC in an enhanced and thoroughly improved high-definition version called Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD.

I’m very excited that a new high-definition version of Assassin’s Creed Liberation will be released in early 2014, and I’m so glad that a whole new audience will get the chance to know and love Aveline de Grandpré as much as I do. She’s a wonderfully heroic character, and she’s very close to my heart. I’m very happy that a larger community of gamers will be able to experience her adventures.

In addition to the other improvements in the high definition version, associate producer Momchil Valentinov Gindyanov of Ubisoft Sofia described a particular improvement to the game in the press release that went out today:

“Sound and music has been re-mastered, so if audio is your thing you will definitively appreciate the improvements made for Liberation HD.”

While I’d known previously about the announcement that would be made today, I was very happily surprised that the game trailer was released at the same time. The trailer includes portions of three of the tracks I composed for the game:

Here are the names of the tracks, and the timings at which they appear in the trailer: first “Stealth” (0:04-0:36), then “In the Service of Humanity” (0:37-1:12), and finally “The Hunt” (1:16-1:40). I thought you might be interested in hearing these three tracks, so I’m going to link to the full-length versions here.
